Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 5-7th edition

Congratulations!!  Friday has arrived!!

Good morning!  
This is the “7th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 


    Global Collaboration Day arrives on September 21st!http://www.globalcollaborationday.org/home.html The primary goals of this whole day event are to demonstrate the power of global connectivity in classrooms, schools, institutions of informal learning and universities around the world, and to introduce others to the tools, resources and projects that are available to educators today. Email me ASAP for additional details or to setup your class to participate!!!
                                                                  
  Within the Global Collaboration resource page, there are two exciting Global Math projects! Global Math Stories 
http://www.globalmathstories.org/ Teachers 2 Teachers International provides math stories and problems for students read and solve! It also gives students the opportunity to create their own stories and math problems to share with the world! Please check this out!!

  
     Another Global Math project that allows interaction outside the classroom walls is the Global Math Task Twitter Challenge http://gmttc.blogspot.com/ ! This challenge connects students globally to share Math tasks, strategies & solutions!!


     We can’t forget about Reading!! The Global Read Aloud is coming!! Sign up for the Global Read Aloud in October https://theglobalreadaloud.com/ ! We want to expose our students to situations beyond the classroom walls and this is a great resource!
