Friday, April 25, 2014-12th edition




Greetings!! Congratulations!!! The final Friday in April is here!!!

This is the “12th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.

The first resource is entitled “K-12 Internet Resource Center” http://www.k12irc.org/   This site contains lesson plans, projects, units, extended studies, multimedia creations and much, much more! In the K-12 Internet Resource Center (K12IRC), the areas, sections and entries are chock full of the best-of-breed for designing, implementing and refreshing electronic learning communities.

Friday, April 18, 2014-11th edition






Greetings!!
This is the “11th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.
The first resource is entitled “HomeSchool Math” http://www.homeschoolmath.net  HomeschoolMath.net is a comprehensive math resource site for homeschooling parents, parents, and teachers that includes free math worksheets, lessons, online math games lists, ebooks, a curriculum guide, reviews, and more. The resources emphasize understanding of concepts instead of mechanical memorization of rules.
The second resource is entitled “Open Culture” http://www.openculture.com/free_k-12_educational_resources This collection provides a list of free educational resources for K-12 students (kindergarten through high school students) and their parents and teachers. It features free video lessons/tutorials, mobile apps, audiobooks, web resources and much, much more.

April 3, 2014- Spring Break Edition

This is the "Thursday before Spring Break edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. I wanted to share with you some great sites that your students can use during the break to continue to strengthen their academic skills.
The first resource is entitled “Game Classroom " http://www.gameclassroom.com/  Game Classroom is a one-stop web destination for accessing high-quality educational games, worksheets and homework help for K-6th grade students.
The second resource is entitled “Spree Games"http://spreegames.com/ Spree Games is the Leading Resource for Digital K-12 Educational Learning Games. It consists of a public site listing all games available, and a subscription service allowing students to play games, including proprietary ones to Spree, to save lists, and to track success.
