Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 4:20th edition



Congratulations!! Another Fabulous Friday is Here!!!!

Good morning!  
This is the “20th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 

·       Today’s first tip is a resource from the APS Professional Learning Department.  The District is offering several classes on Instructional Technology Integration including the use of Google, Microsoft, Web 2.0 Tools and much, much more! Be sure to login to My PLC to register for these classes! (https://atlanta.truenorthlogic.com/). I hope to see you there!
·       Today’s second tip is a resource from the APS Summer e-Reading Getaway! Students in grades kindergarten through 12 will have access to more than 6,000 e-books, which they may access by going to the Summer e-Reading Getaway website and entering their unique user name and password. For those students without Wi-Fi or an internet connection at home, they can bring their mobile device to school so the media specialist can download books onto their device. Please check with your media specialist for more details!

Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 4:19th edition

Good morning!  
This is the “19th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 

·       Today’s first tip is a resource from the Microsoft Education Center.  As members of the Atlanta Public Schools community, you have access to dozens of resources at (https://education.microsoft.com). Please create a free account. There are tons of Skype virtual field trips, activities and lesson plans that are free!!! This is a great resource to engage the students as we close out of the school-year.   Please let me know if you need assistance with using this resource!
·       Today’s second tip is a resource entitled WatchKnowLearn (http://www.watchknowlearn.org/ ) WatchKnowLearn is a super-directory of over 50,000 free educational video links that are organized by subject matter.
