Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 2 6th edition





Congratulations!! You have reached ‘the final holiday’ of Summer 2014!
This is the “6th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.
  • The first resource is entitledClassFlow” https://classflow.com/ Class Flow is the all-in-one teaching tool for creating and orchestrating interactive multi-media lessons across a connected learning environment. With ClassFlow, teachers can deliver interactive multi-media lessons throughout your connected classroom, deliver interactive multi-media lessons throughout your connected classroom and much, much more!! Class Flow is a product of Promethean and shares your lessons from the Promethean board to tablets or other computers! Please contact your ETS for assistance with integrating this tool into your lessons.
  • The second resource is entitled “Symbaloo” http://www.symbaloo.com/  .  The application is a unique visual bookmarking service that doubled as a link sharing tool. Teachers can create a free account and bookmark websites for their students to use based on content, skill or lesson!! There is a sharing feature in which you can share your bookmarked webmixes with other teachers. This is a great tool to prevent students from typing incorrect websites and keeping up with phenomenal websites.
  • The third resource is entitled “Go Noodle” https://www.gonoodle.com/ (Thanks Humphries teachers for sharing!!) This website provides free brain breaks that help channel good classroom energy. There’s a short brain break activity for every part of the day. Calm the classroom or energize your students depending on the time of day!

Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 2- 5th edition


Congratulations!! Friday of Week 3 has arrived!

This is the “5th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 

  • The first resource is entitledFlipsnack” http://www.flipsnack.com/   Flipsnack is a tool for converting PDF files to flash and turning them into rich media digital magazines with clickable links, audio, and video. Very popular as one of the best flipbook makers for businesses, it now adds the possibility of interactive content. Create, publish, and share or embed on social media, blogs and websites.

  • The second resource is entitled “Educational Freeware” http://www.educational-freeware.com/   This site finds and reviews high-quality free educational software and websites - mostly for kids, but also for grown-ups. They have a large selection of web-based software (check the Online tab), as well as Windows educational software to download.

Busy teachers, parents, and students can find resources using their robust search tools.
  • The second resource is entitled “Science Kid Activities” http://www.sciencekidadventures.com/.  This site is a place where parents, teachers, and children can come for culturally relevant hands-on inquiry based science learning, lab activities, and programs.
