Greetings!! This is the “22nd  edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F² T²) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. These online resources can be used before, during, and after a daily lesson or semester-long unit. Check out this week’s tip that focuses preparation for Georgia Milestones Assessment!!!

As we prepare for the upcoming GA Milestones Assessment, we have identified some skills which our students will need to be successful. While this skill-set is tentative and is just a beginning, let’s work to incorporate them into our weekly technology lessons in the schools.

Our students will need to

·         read passages onscreen

·         Type words, sentences and long narratives.

·         Annotate passages onscreen

·         Use handheld calculators

·         Manipulate onscreen calculators

·         Type numbers, expressions, and equations

·         Construct equations, fractions, and decimals

Please encourage students to practice using the following tools:

·        On screen Highlighter

·        On screen Eraser

·        On screen Magnifying Glass

·        On screen  Mark for Review

·         Online Calculator-in sections where this is allowed

·         Option Eliminator

·         Scratch Pad

·         Blocking Tool
