Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2) Volume 2- 7th edition

Congratulations!! Another Positive & Productive Week Complete! RISE UP!!!
This is the “7th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.
  • The first resource is entitled “Better Lesson” http://betterlesson.com  This website hosts lesson plans for English and math from 170 master teachers. You can search for plans by grade and subject. The master teachers have posted notes about how they use their plans, along with video summaries. You can also see how each lesson applies to a given Common Core standard, and how the lessons connect throughout the year.

  • The second resource is entitled “Interactive Sites”http://interactivesites.weebly.com/  These activities work great with your Promethean Board for whole group or small group instruction or use in the computer lab or at home. There are interactive activities and simulations for math, english language arts, science, social studies, brain teasers, music, art and more.

  • This week’s "Friday Throwback” is Pete’s Powerpoint Station http://www.pppst.com  This website is one of the most comprehensive resources of educational PowerPoints & Interactive sites on the web. It contains gems for teaching everything from grammar to the gold rush! Don’t forget that you can import the Power Points into ActivInspire to allow interaction using Promethean tools. Please contact your ETS for assistance with integrating this tool into your lessons.
(If you have problems opening the links within Internet Explorer, please copy and paste the links into Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to access the resources. Did you miss a tip/tool in a Fabulous Friday email or looking for a tool from the emails? Please bookmark this link (http://apsf2t2.blogspot.com/) to access previous tips and tools.)
