Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2)- Volume 6-15th edition

Congratulations!! Another chilly Friday in November has arrived!!!!

Good morning!  

This is the 15^th  edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F² T²) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.  Over the past 3 days, I have attended the statewide technology conference and gained multiple nuggets to enhance your technology integration. I can’t wait to share!!

• APS Race2Read: The 2 Million Minutes Challenge has begun!! Join Atlanta Public Schools as we Race2Read 2 million minutes! This is an opportunity to create reading enthusiasm in our learning communities by getting students, staff, families and community members excited about free choice reading. Reading minutes will be logged using the Beanstack website. Training of this tool will occur next week during grade level planning and faculty meetings. Students and school communities have opportunities to earn badges, special prizes and help APS achieve our goal of 2 million minutes! We’re off to a running start! Ready, set, Race2Read!

•  Did you know that the interactive assessment tool Kahoot( https://kahoot.com)  now has standards based content? Kahoot has added thousands of interactive content curated by companies such as National Geographic that are common core and state standards aligned! They have also created folders of subject area Kahoots that allow you to easily search for standards & skill assessments  Check out the multi-content resource for all! Need assistance?
