This is the “6th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.
Today’s first tip is Calculation Nation(http://calculationnation.nctm.org/ ) Calculation Nation® uses the power of the Web to let upper grade students challenge opponents from anywhere in the world. At the same time, students are able to challenge themselves by investigating significant mathematical content and practicing fundamental skills. The element of competition adds an extra layer of excitement. Please let me know if you need assistance with using this tool!
As we continue to prepare of our students to effectively use technology, today’s second tip is a repeat from a previous F2T2. It is a Typing resource called Typing.com(formerly Typing Web) (https://www.typing.com/ ) Typing.com allows teachers to grade and track student progress. It also allows students to complete interactive typing games and positive reinforcement.
