Fabulous Friday Technology Tip(F2T2) Volume 2 2nd edition

Happy Friday!! Day One APS is approaching!

Greetings!!

This is the “2nd edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F2 T2) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers.

  • The first resource is entitled “Ten Marks” http://www.tenmarks.com/  Ten Marks is a comprehensive math resource for students, parents and teachers that has embedded support to differentiate and assist every student with every problem. The resources emphasize understanding of concepts instead of mechanical memorization of rules. Teachers receive reports that show areas in which students are achieving and areas where assistance is needed.
  • The second resource is entitled “No Red Ink” https://www.noredink.com/.  This site allows students to improve their grammar and writing skills and target Common Core skills using the students’ interest. This resource also allows the teacher to track growth using color coded heat maps.

  • The Mayor's Summer Reading Club, organized by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, engages public and private partners to distribute free age-appropriate books to children, ages birth to 8, at family-friendly events held across the city over the summer months. http://www.mayorsreadingclub.org/
