Fabulous Friday Technology Tip-Volume 4:10th edition

Congratulations!! The Final Friday of February 2017 is here!!!!

Good afternoon!  

This is the “10th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F² T²) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 

Today’s first tip is called Into The Book(https://reading.ecb.org) . Into the Book is a multimedia package designed to improve elementary students' reading comprehension, as well as their ability to think and learn across the curriculum. Please let me know if you need assistance with using this tool!

Today’s second tip is Parent Resource Tip. It is a Parent Resource called Parent Toolkit(http://www.parenttoolkit.com/ ) The Parent Toolkit will help you navigate your child’s journey from pre-kindergarten through high school. It is designed to help you track and support progress at each stage. Please share this phenomenal resource with your parents and other stakeholders.

This is the “9th edition" of the Fabulous Friday Technology Tip (F² T²) that shares technology tools and resources that can be integrated into your daily lessons, unit plans and classroom centers. 

**An Oldie But Goodie**APS MyBackpack(https://mybackpack.apsk12.org)  has phenomenal resources and tools that can be integrated into all parts of your classroom. You and your students have access to Microsoft Tools online as well as Google Tools via MyBackpack. Please check out the additional tools and resources in the MySpace tab. The district has created accounts for you and your students to utilize resources such as Khan Academy, PowerMyLearning, ShareMyLesson and much more. PowerMyLearning and Khan Academy are phenomenal tools that can be used for small group, whole group and differentiated instruction!

As we continue to prepare of our students to effectively use technology in preparation for the Georgia Milestones, today’s tip is focuses on several websites that contain writing prompts. Each website has a variety of resources for writing that can be utilized in Google Docs & Google Classroom.
